DetailsMortar and pestle olive wood , modern shape , original design . Beautiful olive wood mortars, very strong and durable. The mortar includes a matching hammer. Designed and manufactured in our factory BfCart since 1970 Olive wood is very resistant, very durable and very beautiful, its main peculiarity is its hardness and very closed grain, making it very suitable for food handling, it has a finish with oils suitable for contact with food and its maintenance is very easy.
* The measurement are 12cm/4.73inc diameter x 7cm/2.76inc height
* The size of the pestle is: 16cm/6.30inc. long
* The measurements indicated are total, taken from the outside in both height and diameter.
The olive wood, as it is a very hard wood and with a very closed grain, for this , the bacteria cannot be deposited on it nor can they reproduce, as for example in other white and loose and lower quality woods, or with plastic or PVC that favor the proliferation and reproduction of bacteria according to various studies, this must be taken into account for our health. This also means that by not being able to penetrate into the wood, it does not pick up food odors, so this makes our kitchen utensils in olive wood a very good choice for safe food handling.
In our BfCart workshop in Mallorca, Spain, we have been manufacturing all kinds of kitchen, desk and decoration products since 1970 without interruption, we are the second generation of this family business and we continue to work every day to improve our products, manufacture and design new and original products, so that our clients have exclusive "BfC art" products -

Wow. This product is beautiful— the wood grain just glows. I love that it requires so little maintenance to maintain its beautiful exterior. I also was very impressed with the price point— reasonably priced but also supporting an artisan and his company is a double bonus. Delivery was easy— note that I live in canada and customs payment was required but the delivery made even this step easy.
